It started out with just two of us sharing a passion for cooking, and a hobby of seeking out the hottest peppers and sauces we could find. It all seems like a whirlwind from there!

We are Sergio and Tori Romero. We live in Salt Lake City, Utah - and are the owners of Sergio’s Hot Sauce. And yup, you guessed it: all the recipes for the hot sauces are Sergio’s creations!

This whole thing started as a hobby, but quickly grew from there. Sergio had friends and family texting and calling asking for more bottles, which quickly spread to receiving calls and texts from friends and family of our friends and family who had been given a bottle... Soon we were getting “orders” in, without even realizing that something had come of it.

So… we took the leap! Long story short, life threw us a few curve balls. Our plans were down the drain and it was time to decide what to do next. In 2021 Kevin and Terri Borg (our parents!) joined our team - allowing us to keep the company family owned and operated! That’s when we decided that this was something we were really going to do. So this year we are officially launching Sergio’s Hot Sauce!
